How to protect your wedding website's privacy
A wedding website holds your names, the date and the venue, and collects data from your guests, sometimes even allergies. To protect it, check it doesn't appear in search engines, use a PIN if you don't want anyone with the address to see it, give each guest a personal link and don't publish anything guests send without reviewing it first.
Out of search engines
Someone searching your names and finding the date and venue of your wedding isn't ideal. Check your website isn't offered to search engines. Nupzy websites never are, with or without a PIN, and they carry no analytics or ads.
PIN and personal links
Without a PIN, anyone with the address can see the website. With one, only those who know it. A personal link for each guest is even easier: whoever opens it gets in without typing anything and the website knows who they are.
Ask guests not to forward their link, and if one reaches the wrong person, generate a new one.
What guests post
Guestbook messages, songs and photos uploaded by guests: better to review them before they appear on the website. On Nupzy everything arrives as pending and only what you approve is published.
Your guests' data
Ask only for what you'll use. Allergies are health data: share them only with whoever prepares the food. And when it's all over, you can download or delete all your data from your dashboard.
