How the editor works
Adding, moving and changing the components of your website.
The canvas
In the middle is the page as it will look. Each piece (a cover, a text, a photo, the RSVP button…) is a component you can move and resize freely, by dragging it or pulling its corners.
At the top you choose whether you are editing the desktop or the mobile version, and you have undo, redo, zoom and the option to show guides and grid for lining things up.
Add components
In the Add tab, drag a component onto the page or tap it to add it at the end. They are grouped into basics, wedding ones and guest ones. See what each component does.
Change a component
Select a component and its options appear on the right: content, variant, text, background and border, position and size. From there you can also duplicate it, hide it, bring it forward or send it back, and delete it.
In texts you can add bold, italics and links with the buttons on the formatting bar.
Some components fill themselves in with details from other sections (the cover with your names, the venue with the address, the gallery with your photos). In that case the inspector takes you to the section where you change them.
Layers
The Layers tab lists the components on the page. Use it to select one that is hidden behind another and to give them names that help you find them.
