Gift reservations
How your guests reserve gifts and what you can do with each reservation.
How a guest reserves
Anyone who comes in with their personal link reserves straight away: we already know who they are. For anyone who comes in through the website's general address, you choose in the list settings:
- Just their name: they type their name and the reservation is immediate. Each browser can hold at most 3 reservations.
- With email confirmation: they type their name and email and confirm from the link we send them. Meanwhile the gift is held for 30 minutes. It stops anyone blocking the list, and each email counts towards your sending allowance.
The guest can cancel their reservation from the list page itself.
See and manage reservations
In the Reservations and contributions tab you see who has reserved or contributed what, with their message. You can Release any reservation so the gift becomes available again, and Export the list to write your thank-you notes.
