Organise the tables
Create the tables for the reception, seat each guest and prepare the sheets for the caterer.
Create the tables
In Tables press Add tables: choose how many, their shape (round or long), the seats at each one and whether it is a children's table. They number themselves. You can have up to 120 tables.
In the Floor plan view, drag each table to place it as it is in the venue. The full screen button, bottom right, gives the plan and the list of people to seat the whole screen.
- Hover over a table to see its buttons: edit (name, shape, seats), duplicate and delete. On a phone, tap the table to edit or delete it.
- If you delete a table with people at it, they go back to the list of people to seat.
- In the ⋯ menu: Tidy up tables on the plan puts them back on a grid, Unseat everyone empties the tables without deleting them, and Start over deletes every table. Your guests and their replies stay as they are.
Seat people
On one side is the To seat list. Drag a whole invitation onto a table, or open it to seat each person separately. On your phone, tap the person and then the table.
- You can save a seat for someone who has not confirmed yet. If they reply that fewer people are coming or that they are not coming, their seats free up on their own.
- Babies do not take a seat: they go with their family and count as a high chair.
- An amber dot means that person has allergies or intolerances.
For the caterer
With Excel or Print you get each table with its guests, their menu and their allergies, plus the total for each menu.
Show each guest their table
When the seating is ready, switch on “Show each guest their table”. Anyone who comes in with their personal link will see their table next to their RSVP. If you move someone later, they will always see their current table.
